Ph.D. position: Collaborative Mixed Reality (Paris-Saclay/ CNRS)
The VENISE team of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Numerical Sciences (LISN - CNRS & Université Paris-Saclay), in collaboration with archaeologists and a company working in the field of archaeology, is recruiting a Ph.D. student for 3 years in the ArchéoImmersion project, for which funding has been determined.
The successful candidate will be involved in the design, modelling and development of a collaborative VR&A system for multi-user data mining and analysis in archaeology and cultural heritage. The Ph.D. project will focus on the rendering of massive data via V&AR interfaces, the development of a collaborative environment and the evaluation of such platforms on archaeological and cultural heritage scenarios.
